New Merchant Platform Introduction
Merchant Management Console, MMC, is a business management backend provided by PayerMax to merchants. Merchants can log in to the Merchant Platform (MMC) to enable multi-currency accounts, global acquiring, international payments, and local bank collections in one stop, helping merchants with global payments and simplifying financial operations.
1. Function Module Overview
The Merchant Platform (MMC) mainly includes the following modules:
Fund Account (Multi-currency Fund Management): Helps merchants view and manage PayerMax fund accounts, and perform basic operations such as top-up, transfer, withdrawal, and currency exchange;
Acquiring Product: Unified management of transaction orders for acquiring services, with the ability to query settlement data;
Payout Product: Merchants can initiate single and batch payouts through payout management;
Collection Product (Local Bank Collection): Merchants can initiate the creation of local bank collection accounts through collection management;
Forex Products: Real-time exchange rate inquiry and foreign exchange transactions;
Risk Management: Control high-risk automatic blocking and low-risk fast approval through blacklists and whitelists, as well as handle acquiring disputes and submit defense applications, and support the use of PayerMax chargeback alert services to reduce dispute rates;
Bill Management: Download transaction statements, settlement statements, and fund statements, and complete reconciliation;
Approval Center: Provide approval flow configuration functions for fund operations initiated by MMC, and complete corresponding document approvals and record inquiries;
Service Settings: View basic merchant onboarding information, settlement bank account information, contract information, user information, contract management, etc.

2. Function Module Introduction
2.1 Fund Account (Multi-currency Fund Management)
The Account Management module mainly helps merchants view and manage PayerMax fund accounts, and perform fund operations such as top-up/transfer/withdrawal/currency exchange on account funds.
The functions under this module specifically include: Account Opening/Fund Account Authorization, Top-up, Transfer, Withdrawal, Exchange, Fund Transaction Query, Fund Flow Report, Daily Closing Balance.

| Exchange | Used for currency exchange of available balances in fund accounts (supports same-account and cross-account). Exchange results will be notified to merchants via email |

This module only supports querying fund account information. The fund flow of fund accounts is as follows:
2.2 Acquiring Product
2.2.1 Order Query
Merchants can use to uniformly manage transaction orders for acquiring services, view order details, and process refund requests initiated by users and view refund records.
The functions under this module specifically include: Order Query, Refund Query.
Order Query: PayerMax supports three ways to view order status:
Log in to the Merchant Platform → page to view order status;
Receive Adoption of Payment Result Notification to get order status;
Get order status through the Inquiry via payment order.
Refund Query: Used for merchants to query corresponding refund orders. Refund orders must meet the following conditions:
- Only successfully paid orders can be refunded;
- Orders already in the refund process cannot be refunded again;
- Orders that have been successfully refunded cannot be refunded again;
- Refunds can be initiated within
180 daysafter successful payment; - Please ensure the account balance is sufficient to cover the refund;
- Please confirm whether the initiator has permission to apply for a refund. If the refund conditions are not met but you still wish to initiate a refund, it is recommended to use PayerMax's payout service for refund. For details, please contact
service@payermax.com.
Refunds initiated by the Merchant Platform (MMC) can set up approval flow for approval (for specific operations, please refer to the Approval Center).
2.2.2 Settlement Management
Merchants can use to query and verify the amounts to be settled and already settled for acquiring transactions.
The functions under this module specifically include: Settled Settlement, Pending Settlement.
Settled: This page mainly provides merchants with queries of settled data. PayerMax will aggregate transactions based on the settlement cycle configured in the contract on the settlement due date and generate settlement statements (exporting settlement statements will generate two files:
settlement_sumandsettlement_detail)- During settlement, funds will be automatically credited to the authorized fund account at that time, and the settlement process ends; thereafter, merchants can withdraw the balance or use it for payouts.
To Be Settled: Allows query of the aggregated funds to be settled from transaction completion up to the settlement date.
2.3 Payout Product
Merchants can use to initiate single and batch payouts, view payout records, and manage payee account information. Currently supported payout methods: API, Single Transfer, Batch Transfer.
Payout: Includes , , and .
Single/Batch Transfer Query: Allows exporting order details and viewing transaction exchange rates on this page;
Payee Account Management: Used to view payee account details and directly create payee accounts.
Payout applications initiated by the Merchant Platform (MMC) can set up approval flow for approval (for specific operations, please refer to the Approval Center)
2.4 Collection Product (Local Bank Collection)
Merchants can use to initiate the creation of local bank collection accounts, and view the collection account information already created by merchants on the platform as well as collection order records.
The functions under this module specifically include: Account Management and Order Management.
Account Management: This page supports merchants to create the collection accounts they need;
Order Management: This page supports querying all transaction information for actual collections received for all merchant accounts.
2.5 Forex Products
Merchants can use foreign exchange products to perform basic real-time exchange rate inquiries (for reference only, actual exchange rates are subject to transaction time)
Based on the business products activated by merchants, PayerMax provides corresponding product exchange rate inquiries.
Free Currency Exchange Rate: Currency exchange in fund products (activated by default);
Acquiring/Payout Product Exchange Rate: Displayed based on the merchant's contract activation status.
For hedging needs such as lock-in exchange rates or scheduled currency exchange, please contact the business manager separately.
2.6 Risk Management
Merchants can use to automatically block high-risk payment elements they identify, while relaxing risk control strategies for trusted payment users and local collection payers to improve payment success rates or posting timeliness.
The functions under this module specifically include: Acquiring Blacklist, Whitelist, VA Collection Whitelist, Dispute Management, Chargeback Alert, and Security Deposit.
Whitelist: The whitelist is only valid for card acquiring transactions in non-Latin American countries such as the Middle East, Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, and only opens privileges for specified users in limited quantities to reduce fund risks;
Acquiring Blacklist: This function mainly facilitates merchants to identify users or card information with issues such as盗刷, fraud during business transactions, and manually blacklist them to prevent such fraudulent behavior from recurring;
VA Collection Whitelist: This function allows merchants to configure whitelists for payers in their collection business, reducing PayerMax internal RFI and accelerating posting;
Dispute Management: For disputed orders generated from acquiring, this function allows case inquiry, case response, and defense application;
Chargeback Alert: Chargeback Alert is a pre-chargeback notification solution provided by PayerMax. It offers a short window to resolve chargebacks before the refund process begins, aiming to help merchants proactively resolve issues before customer problems escalate into chargebacks.
- If merchants sign up for the Chargeback Alert service, they can query and manage specific order information on the Merchant Platform (MMC) and take action based on the alert information.

7-10 business days. Before it becomes effective, chargeback orders will still appear normally.
2.7 Bill Management
Merchants can use to download transaction statements and fund statements, and also customize statement headers to meet personalized reconciliation needs.
The functions under this module specifically include: Bill Download, Export Record, Scheduled Settings.
Bill Download: Supports users to download corresponding transaction statements, settlement statements, and fund statements;
Scheduled Settings: This page supports users to customize statements, including scheduling, header settings, and statement notification settings.
PayerMax supports three methods for obtaining statements:
Download statements manually via
MMC, or set up scheduled statements to automatically send statement emails upon cycle expiration;Obtain statements by
accessing SFTP;Obtain statements via
API.
2.8 Approval Center
Merchants can use to configure approval flows for important fund-related operations on the Merchant Platform (MMC) and complete corresponding approvals.
The specific functions under this module include: Approval Settings, Pending Approval, Approval History.
Approval Settings: Currently, the system supports approval flow management for four processes: fund account authorization editing, withdrawal, payout, and acquiring refund.
Among them, payout approval is enabled by default; the other three are disabled by default;
Currently, the system only supports setting up 1-level approval for approval flows.
Pending Approval: Documents that trigger the approval flow will be pushed to pre-configured approvers. Approvers can use this function to query all records requiring approval.
Approval History: Users can query the record information of approvals they have completed.
2.9 Service Settings
Merchants can use to view basic merchant onboarding information, settlement bank account information, contract information, contact information, query payment method availability, configure and manage keys and callback addresses required for system integration, and subscribe to email notifications for various special node results.
The functions under this module specifically include: Contract Management, User Management, Notification Management, Development Configuration, Information Management (Coming Soon), and Payment Method Availability.
User Management: Super administrators can use this function to manage role permissions, user information, user authorizations, etc.;
Contract Management: Super administrators can use this function to view all pending and signed agreements and rate sheets;
Development Configuration: This module is mainly used by developers to configure various keys for test and production environments, as well as various callback address configurations;
Notification Management: Used to configure target email addresses for email notifications at various special nodes.
Information Management: This module mainly displays the merchant's basic information, settlement bank account information, contract-related information, etc.;
Payment Method Availability: This module displays the products/services purchased by the merchant, the currencies activated for the products, and the availability of payment methods for corresponding currencies.
