Introduction
PayerMax supports two major types of acquiring products. In addition to the standard acquiring product that is suitable for most online payment scenarios and is initiated and completed by users, PayerMax has also launched a subscription and auto debit product, which is suitable for payment scenarios where users are not present. During the first payment, the user completes the authorization, and subsequently, the merchant directly initiates the deduction, with the user not participating in the payment process.
1. Applicable Scenarios
1.1 Periodic Subscription
It is applicable to scenarios such as streaming media, membership subscriptions, and other periodic payment scenarios.
Subscription Scenarios:
Fixed-Amount Subscription: A fixed amount is deducted in each period;
n-day Trial: When purchasing a product and creating a subscription agreement, the user is given a trial period. Only authorization is made without deduction, and the first-period deduction is made after the trial period ends;
Subscription Discount: After the subscription is successfully created, there is a fee discount for the first n periods, and the subscription fee returns to normal in the (n + 1)-th period.
1.2 Non-Periodic Auto Debit
It is applicable to deduction scenarios triggered on demand, such as taxi rides, rentals, pay-after-use, and other scenarios.
2. Product Advantages
Flexible Usage Modes: It supports subscription and non-periodic deduction scenarios and can be adapted to various MIT scenarios of merchants;
Diverse Integration Modes: It supports integration in API, payment checkout, and front-end component modes. Merchants can flexibly choose according to their own demands;
Rich Payment Capabilities: It supports international card capabilities and will continuously add other supported payment methods.
3. Integration Modes
PayerMax acquiring docking supports multiple integration modes, including payment checkout (divided into full-payment method payment checkout and specified payment method payment checkout), pure API payment, and front-end components. Merchants can select the applicable docking mode to access according to their own business scenarios. Under the merchant deduction product, there are flexible usage modes.
3.1 Periodic Subscription
In the periodic subscription scenario, merchants can choose to have PayerMax manage the subscription plan, synchronize the subscription plan to PayerMax, and then PayerMax will initiate the deduction according to the cycle and notify the merchant of the deduction result. Merchants do not need to maintain the subscription plan by themselves, with less development effort, and can quickly integrate and go live.
(a) When activating the subscription plan for the first payment, the user needs to complete the payment or authorization. PayerMax provides 3 integration modes:
"Payment Cashier Mode": The merchant only needs to provide a checkout entrance. After the user clicks, they will be redirected to the PayerMax Hosted Payment Page, which displays the details of the subscription plan. The user selects the payment method to complete the subscription;
"Direct API Mode": When the subscription plan is activated, it is a pure API interaction, and the merchant completes the display of the subscription plan and the management of the payment method by itself;
"Front-end Component": When the subscription plan is activated, use the pre-built payment UI solution of PayerMax. The PayerMax payment checkout will not be launched, and the merchant can embed the component in any position of the product page.
(b) After the activation is successful, PayerMax will execute the deduction according to the subscription plan subsequently.
(c) PayerMax also supports merchants to manage the subscription plan by themselves. Merchants design the form of the subscription product according to their own scenarios, and PayerMax only accepts the deduction requests from merchants. The specific integration interaction process is the same as that of "non-periodic auto debit".
3.2 Non-Periodic Auto Debit
In the non-periodic auto debit scenario, after the user authorizes, the merchant will automatically deduct the payment in its own scenario according to its business scenario.
(a) For the first payment, the merchant can choose an integration mode for payment authorization:
"Payment Cashier Mode": Jump to the PayerMax payment checkout to select the payment method, enter the payment elements, and complete the payment;
"Direct API Mode": Use API interaction for the first payment and specify the payment method and payment element information;
"Front-end Component": Use the pre-built payment UI solution of PayerMax. The merchant can embed the component in any position of the product page. The component renders the payment method and collects the payment elements.
(b) Subsequently, use the token for deduction without the participation of the user.
4. Payment Methods
The PayerMax merchant subscriptipn product currently supports international card payments (Visa/MasterCard), and other payment methods will be continuously updated in the future.
